Rock Hill, SC, March 29, 2012 Composite Resources, a global leader in the design, prototype and manufacture of precision composite solutions announced today that the company has earned AS9100 Revision C certification for its quality management system. Established by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), the AS9100C is the latest aerospace quality management standard. According to the SAE International website,” AS9100:2009 Revision C (AS9100C) is a specific international standard for the increasingly competitive aerospace industry. These standards were developed by the IAQG to produce a harmonized platform to ensure that all operations in the supply chain are adhering to best practices.”
“The aerospace industry justifiably expects one of the most rigorous quality management systems,” said Aaron Hooper, Quality Manager at Composite Resources. “This certification is recognition that Composite Resources meets those standards. It takes a significant investment and commitment from all of our employees to attain this level of certification and we’re grateful for everyone’s efforts.”
“Our commitment to our clients is to consistently deliver products that meet their specifications, and deliver them on time,” said Donnette Brock, Operations Manager for Composite Resources. “We know that even a small part can impact the timeline of a large aerospace project. We invest in the effort because we know it makes us a better supplier to all of our customers.”
Composite Resources had previously held AS9100B and ISO 9001:2008 certifications and continues to maintain ISO 9001:2008 certification along with the new revision to the AS9100 standard. A significant portion of Composite Resources clients are from the Aerospace and Defense industries and each client has high expectations for quality, on-time deliverables.

Composite Resources/CORE autosport New Building
Our new 60,000 square foot building is almost done! This is not a replacement for our current Composite Resources headquarters, it is a new addition right next door, bringing our total footprint to almost 120,000 square feet!
Combining our racing team, CORE autosport with our composite engineering/manufacturing was a logical decision. Our motorsports customers know that precision composite design and manufacturing are a key component of any race team. And we'll soon have space to house all of the new equipment we've been aquiring to expand our composite engineering/manufacturing capabilitites.

CORE autosport take Team and Driver's Championships
Composite Resources founder Jon Bennett drove the CORE autosport #05 with co-drivers Frankie Montecalvo and Ryan Dalziel in the Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta yesterday. The second team car, #06 was piloted by Gunnar Jeannette, Ricardo Gonzalez and Rudy Junco. It was a gruelling 1,000km race that ended for car #05 only 9 laps from the finish when one of the larger prototypes crashed into it while Ryany Dalziel was exiting the pits. The retirement left CORE autosport with the team championship by a single point and drivers Gunnar Jeannette and Ricardo Gonzalez tied for the driver's championship with Eric Lux from team Genoa.
Congratulations to all the crew, drivers and management for CORE autosport for winning two championships in their maiden year in the American Le Mans Series.
